Australian Green Party leader Bob Brown has demanded that Prime Minister Kevin Rudd commit Australia to a 40 per cent cut in emissions by 2020 despite the failure of the Copenhagen summit to set emissions targets. He described the outcome of the Copenhagen conference on climate change as a disaster and says it’s time for the federal government to start “serious negotiations” with his party in the Senate.
In signature Greens scare mongering style he went on to say “the news about climate change is continuing to get worse in an accelerated fashion” completely ignoring the data that prominent scientists around the world are presenting which contradicts the official line. More interesting is how the Greens propose to enforce this drastic cut-back.

Climate Change Minister Penny Wong says Australia had hoped to achieve more from the Copenhagen conference, but must now move forward and implement the accord. She said the “extreme views” of some nations cannot be allowed to derail the process, but that Australia would do “no more, but no less” than the rest of the world on climate change.
Meanwhile a climate change ‘nut’ who has been on a hunger strike in protest against a lack of action on climate change was admitted to hospital after losing 20 per cent of his body weight. Such disregard for ones well-being in favor of ’saving the planet’ is illustrative of how completely brainwashed people are by this new ‘religion’.
